Overview of Current J/Boat Production

Below is a table, sorted by length, listing key parameters of each J/Boat model. Further information can be found by clicking on each model name.

In general, all J/Boat models are designed and built for versatile, fast, safe and easy to handle sailing in a wide variety of conditions.

There are two general categories of J/s in active production.  These include the "Metric" series of boats which are designed to sail with an asymmetrical spinnaker and, in most cases, equipped with a retractable carbon fibre bow-sprit we call a J/Sprit; and the "International One-Designs" (IOD) with models that have active international class associations and strict class rules recognized by the International Sailing Federation (ISAF) with active fleets in several countries around the world.
