| Introduction |
| To expand your sailing horizons with a modern sportboat in open waters, there's only one choice: the J/80. Sailing World magazine rated the J/80 as easier to handle, less intimidating, safer and better suited for sailing offshore than other modern sportboats tested. |
The J/80 is built with Lloyds approved baltek end grain balsa and E-glass structural skins, producing a composite structure with twice the impact resistance and durability. Your J/80 will stand up to year after year of use. |
| Offshore Certified |
| The J/80 is the only sports boat under 30ft that is certified for Design Category B of the |
| EU Recreational Craft Directive which states that qualifying boats are designed for waves up to 13 feet high with winds to 41 knots, or conditions which may be encountered on offshore voyages of sufficient length or on coasts where shelter may not always be immediately available.
The J/80’s combination of thrilling performance, reassuring stability, tough construction and one-design popularity has attracted a wide variety of enthusiasts; with over 1100 J/80’s on the water around the world. Check the link to left to see the J/80’s in action at Spi Ouest Race week. |
